Hangovers are a huge time suck. Instead of lying motionless while you head is pounding, try a few quick tricks to get your back on top of the day.

Suggested are a few feng shui techniques; although there are probably no truly dedicated teachings specifically for relieving a hangover, the reasons behind the principles apply.

Try:

  • Turning on a fan to circulate the air (dynamic breathing)
  • Speaking of breathing, infuse the air with citrus and lavender
  • A soothing bath (think healing water)
  • Drink a lot — this time make it water
